Today's Clarion-Ledger reports: "Jackson Police have recovered a stolen dark green 1999 Mercury Marquis and arrested two men who may have used the car to impersonate police officers and rob unsuspecting victims."

My question is: How could the "real" police tell that these guys were impersonators? What if the impersonators had arrested the "real" police officers instead -- what would the City Jail have done?
